Lonely

Like a big tree standing on a vast field
Like the only dim star in the cloudy sky
Above all like God I’m so lonely
I feel so lonely

Like a man walking at the end of the road
Like a Hawk flying high in the sky
Above all like God I’m so lonely
I feel so lonely

Like a tiny island floating on a sea
Like a Lighthouse on an unknown coast
Above all like God I’m so lonely
I feel so lonely

Like an Albatross no where to flee
Like a disabled man knowing his only destiny……
Above all like God I’m so lonely
I feel so lonely

Like an insomniac man in a world of sleep
Like one lost in an unknown desert
Above all like God I’m so lonely
I feel so lonely

Like an unhappy owl cursing the moonlight
Like an universe without a living being
Above all like God I’m so lonely
I feel so lonely

So lonely….So lonely……

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
