It is a long sad journey when I am alone
Feeling the heartbreak I knew I was destined for
I fell many times as the world left from my grasp
Then the time was lost and I became someone I did not know, yet I wouldn't choose to change
I tried to return to a past that no longer existed
For me it was like I was chasing lost dreams
Empty were my hands, nothing but a faded soul
After I fell into an inescapable abyss I realized that I was worth more than this
I had to make the people understand who I was
All that I was born to be, not a failure as we all once thought
I will return and rise again and emerge from my former self
This is a battle that I know will be never ending
But when the moon speaks to me, I listen to her midnight voice and the stars shine upon my skin
That is when I know that everything that I always knew, even when everything was not as it seemed
Everything revealed itself and returned to me
Now I know, as I always knew that I am alive more than ever before
I have awakened the world and the world in return has awakened me...
