Long Live The Dads!
There may be paradise beneath feet of mother
But the gates leading to them is by serving father
A man who toils day and night
Just to see his family smile and shine
He earns and saves for the future
Of his kids and take care of all their needs.
He is sometimes stern but that is only
A way to show how much he cares
Too much love will spoil, so he won't dare.
As he wants his heir to be independent
And stand on their feet one day
On others they should not, ever depend
I never knew of all the struggles
Every father faced until
This fatherhood, I embraced
Then I realized all the love
And sacrifices made by him.
His true worth I now acknowledge
Want to say ‘I love you'
But these tears, choke the voice
Only a father can understand and reply
to his son's un-uttered cries
