Long, Long Grass Poem by Paul Reed

Long, Long Grass

I came in on the breeze
My feet touched the sun
And my head lay back
In the long, long grass;

I came from nowhere
Born of empty space
And to that emptiness
I will return;

Catch me as I fall
Hold me up as I stagger
Wrap me in warmth and love
For I am cold;

The breezes have all blown away
Far away over the sea
And now the dust settles
Low on the lonely ground.

You came on the breeze. The breezes have all blown away. Seeing far away sea you have realized the breeze. An amazing poem is brilliantly penned.
