Look After Others Too

Rating: 5.0

We journey down life’s arduous road
Downcast with aching heart
For on our backs a heavy load
Keeps tearing us apart

Behind a mask we seek to hide
From those we tend to meet
So on and on we’ll walk with pride
Admitting no defeat

Yet oft we find we can’t go on
Our burden’s are too grave
It’s then some turn to Christ God’s Son
Their life and soul to save

Its hard to walk our path alone
We need some help to guide
So God sends man Life’s Corner stone
With Fire to dwell inside

He comes to those in Satan’s jail
To those still lost and blind
He brings to light what makes us fail
That fills our sinful mind

Still others walk more worse for ware
Who fail to understand
Who’ll show them love and tender care
May feel The Father’s hand!

May feel their chains fall link by link
May hear The Master call
May feel redemption as they drink
Salvation’s rains that fall

Who pours on wounds love’s oil and wine Lk.10: 34
Who’ll save from Satan’s sword
God sees such acts as love divine
And gives His just reward
