Looking Sad Poem by Md. Ziaul Haque

Looking Sad

Why are you looking cheerless,
Like Socrates, like Bruno, like Copernicus?
Don’t you know,
That the bad days like the sea-waves come and go?

Dream and optimism are what you should worship,
Avoid all those black sheep,
Who keep on pinching you like a pin,
Remember! It’s them, not you’re in sin.

Like the seasons, like the sun and the moon,
Better time will smile before you like the rainbow soon.
