Lord, take away the hunger, take away the pain.
Take away the bad men, that want to slander Your name.
Take away the sorrow, take away the shame.
Take away the rich man, thats only playing games.
Take away the dope, take away the high,
take away the hurt, that makes us cry.

Send us Your people, give us Your book,
teach us Your word, surely we will look.
Look and see You there, see You everywhere.
We'll see Your shining light,
knowing, everythings gonna be alright..
Once we're saved, by our Lord,
our sins taken away, to be no more.
It's the only way to heaven,
And He paid our way!
