Lord Whitty's Post Poem by Tom Allport

Lord Whitty's Post

He might have been
Lost in his Post
But he ended up
The Scouser's toast
Who gave a penny
For his forethoughts
Lord Street's Whitty
Is still on course
One hundred and fifty years plus
And still not out
He was the true
And original paper scout

More than one hundred fifty years the local paper Lord Street's Whitty has been running. This poem is so nicely inscribed and is a great ode to it. Thanks for sharing.
