Lost Poem by Rose Falcone

Lost

Rating: 5.0

Lost in a storm
Winds whirling, swirling around me
My compass a stone
Useless and cold

Lost without hope
Darkness abounding, a vast abyss
Senses are numbed
My sight is dimmed

Lost and still
The night engulfs me and swallows me whole
Your absent word
Empties my soul

Lost and utterly alone
Blinded by shattered dreams
I reach out
Finding nothing
