Lost Poem by San Antonio Can! High School

I wish that you could see me cry.
I looked in your eyes and told you lies.
If I could take your hate from deep inside,
I would do it all again to make you mine!
I turned into what you hate, and I said things
I did'nt mean to say.

If you would come back for one more day
I'd show why I want you to stay.
Round and round we would go
Like a merry go round.
You made me sleep so sweet,
Kept your arms pressed close
With your lips on mine.
I knew that everything would be alright.

Now I can't sleep, Now I can't eat.
Everything reminds me of you with me.
Am I possessive? I don't know.
I'm just waiting for a chance to hold you close.

I sing to myself to ease my fear.
I can't stop thinking that you're not here.
I repeat to myself that it's alright,
Telling my feelings I'll win this fight.
I hope in the future that I'll move on,
But until that day I'll sing this song....
