Rookie (15 january)

The skies are loosing
The clear pure tints of sparkling blue color
The vastness of the space so challenging
Threatned to choke off part of humanity
A stranger in a strange land
Walks on a lonely path
Everywhere looked so dry and depressing
There was no one in sight
He didn’t know where he was
Didn’t know where to begin
No matter how many times he moved
He found himself in that very pit of darkness
It was getting really bad
Nothing smelled right
So lost in life
He yearned for his home
For his true people
He did not need the entire universe to find
The lost pieces of his life
In this wild strange place
He longed for just a few real ones to know his worth
Appreciate him for who he was
His lonely heart so scared
A lonely sad tear fell down
And there’s not a shoulder to cry on
He felt very sad being part of this world
His heart hurt so deeply
to be on this strange land
