parents tell us to never give up on someone,
they make us wonder with a buddy so we don't get lost,
buddies don't last forever; they leave,
disappear without notice,
now wondering with no direction; lost confused,
askes how did I let this happen,
driving down winding roads no looking back,
lost without explanation,
