I was young and scared
just lost and forlorn
nobody to be with
just moody and alone

then when you came
I knew you were the one
to lead me to the future
show me the bright sun

I was someone who was shy
from the inside breaking free
to shine in the sunlight
someone to be

it was a strange dream
to overcome in a life
to find that special someone
when two worlds collide

but then when I just found it,
it ran and went away
stranded in an island
didn't know to go which way

now I'm just lost and forlorn
a fragile heart to hold
will stay in the shadow
scared, terrified and cold.
