Lost And Found Poem by Susan Ash

Lost And Found

Rating: 5.0

Lost, the hopes, dreams, and
Foundations on which
I built my life
For so many years.

Feeling adrift as I let them go,
I float, fall and rise,
Like a seedling riding the wind,
Not knowing where I will land
To sink my roots once again.

Yet, lying in your arms,
I have found
The peace and contentment
I have so longed for.
Swathed in the warmth of your body
I leave the world outside,
Often reluctant to return too soon.

If ‘home is where the heart is’,
I am happy for this time
That my heart rests with you.

What a sweet and gentle poem, I just loved reading it and have done so several times. Thank you for something lovely.
