Lost In The Forest Poem by David Blake

Lost In The Forest

Rating: 5.0

Enchanted light, the fires that
burn long into the still silent
night. Gone, vanished like the
shadowy figures dancing in the
half light my fears have faded
into nothingness. Searching for
the lost spirit that has been so
long buried inside of me, I am no
longer aware of reality. Pealing
back the years, innate utterances
of suffering and shame are torn
away like flesh exposing my
wasted life. With the purifying
light of knowledge and
understanding I have been set free.

Sounds as if you went through a total spiritual cleansing. Which, i might add, is wonderful for the soul! Great bit of introspective writing! Theo, : 0)
