Lost Love. Poem by Lulu Muffin

Lost Love.

Rating: 4.5

it was almost as though
everything we ever stood for
had gone astray into mid air.
it was like a state of re-birth
for the both of us,
unsure of where our destination
was leading us off to.
our bodies clenched
tightly into eachothers,
our hearts beating roughly
into both of our chests.
our hands always seeming to find
eachothers.
our bodies trembling uncontrollably.
our lips tending to find the others,
coming closer and closer together,
yet one of us would pull away quickly.
our friendship, our love, our laughs
had just vanished away from our fingertips.
come back, i whispered quietly.
