Lost Souls Poem by Anahit Arustamyan

Lost Souls

LOST SOULS

Lost souls! The water leaks in your cracked boats.
Will you return led by the sky's compass?
You have probably given away your roads.
No, you are not in the huge mouths of seas and oceans.
Who hears your silent screams for SOS at your dark corners?
Misery is a wrecked ship without motion.
For the world you are lost souls.
Which thorns do you hide under your torn coats?
Will you return to mend your boats?
In your dreams you may meet land explorers.
Will they find a fair land or your lost roads?
