Lostheart Poem by Sandra Santana Rivera

Lostheart

Everyone told you are not supposed to talk to strangers
but you can stop telling yourself how exciting it is to be in danger.
You try to pull away and struggle with your own nature.

Deep down inside you know even if you could leave
you would comeback in a blink of an eye.
Days pass and the rebel soul can not die.

Sometimes it feels like your walking in circles
and ask yourself is it all in your head.
All you want someone to make it real and the circles to end.
