Lotfi Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Lotfi

Lotfi

He was a musician
Great was in white
Remained at fifteen
Child of Zoroastrian
In baptism's Kashan
By Revolution exile
Returned in a while
Dervish in his mind
Hair, beard, mustache
Pure in motion, cloud

Islamic treatment in death
Washed, cleaned, in white
That simplest cotton cloth
Angelic he lived and died.
