Love that litters peace is what damned me
chatty like a cat-of-nine tails
not enough it got me slaving to everything
everything i could not have done
today i bask in love badly shaken,
bleeding all over
love is hefty, it is torment, it stings
there is no hospital for it
no barrier to protect one from love
today love punishes me like it is its birthright
because you are not here with me
all the butterflies that have come alive
they have all fled me
come, come, my beloved
you are the only medicine out of this
