Love

Love is something special
That's sent from up above
It's good, it's bad, it's sweet
And it's something we can't beat

Love is something magical
That takes over our hearts
It's good, it's bad, it's great
But it can quickly turn to hate

Love is something poisonous
That eats us up inside
It's good, it's bad, it's hot
And it's something that can't be bought

Love is something deadly
That cuts us to the core
It's good, it's bad, it's cold
And it can take away your soul

Love is something special
That's sent from up above
It's good, it's bad, it's sweet
But it's not always a treat!

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Go from me, summer friends, and tarry not:
I am no summer friend, but wintry cold,
A silly sheep benighted from the fold,
A sluggard with a thorn-choked garden plot.
