I thought I knew Love
I thought we were best friends
Until that horrible day came, Love turned around and stabbed me in the back
Love showed me its true colors that day love showed me it's true personality.
So I stopped talking to Love
I turned my back on Love and put up my wall
I hated Love
But I guess I have to learn Love is a way of life and there is no escaping it
You can run but you can not hide from love
Love will always try to find a way to make it up to you.
So instead of siitting here blocking out the world.
I might as well try to let love back in to my life.
Or so I have been told
But to be honest....
I don't want to let love back into my life
cuz I know that no matter how much I do for love
How close love and I get
Love will always cut open my chest and rip my heart out
Just to prove that He is in control
