Love And Rain
Love is like rain
Sometimes a gentle drizzle
Soaking the heart slowly
Sometimes a torrent unabated
Drowning the soul in flood
To some it brings mirth
To some it means ache
It washes off the dirt
At some places
Or washes off the entire fields
Let love enter the heart
Like rain enters the soil
And nourishes it to the depths
To make the flowers grow
From the dead bones.
