Love,
You're a Burmese python,
You constrict us so,
And every year, someone dies from you,
You catch us tight in your jaws,
Never able to be freed,
You swallow us whole,
And some survive your embrace,
Others, are not so lucky,
Most find comfort in your belly,
But you can be so cruel,
With your jagged teeth,
Curved backwards,
Holding us forever tight,
In your jaws,
We are just waiting for you to burst,
When swallowed.
