Love In The Dusk Poem by Bradford Poet

Love In The Dusk

Down our trail,
Under the orange sky,
Through the long dark tunnel,
Linked by the arms,
As dusk appeared,
All the hidden wonderful creatures,
Slowly began to appear,
Locked in arms,
Locked in lips,
Locked in love,
As the sky slowly,
Gives that final glow,
With dusk descending,
With a calm but evening breeze,
I take your hand,
As I guide us through the trees,
Holding you tight,
Guiding the way,
I feel your heart,
Slowly beating away,
Don't worry my love,
Don't be afraid,
I'm right by your side,
You are safe.
