We will meet many people in this lifetime of ours,
In our life's brief decades, years, minutes and hours,
Some remain as acquaintances, some become much more,
Some evoke feelings within that we have never felt before,
Some meetings have great potential to change our life,
That person you meet could be your future husband or wife,
That random person could lead you to a different career choice,
Perhaps a wise person that opens your eyes and gives your mind a voice,
You never know for sure for destiny is a trickster full of games,
Hiding within our story of life a valuable list of names,
Everything is evolving, dynamic changes at an accelerated rate,
Yet all are carefully woven together within the invisible fabric of fate,
But meeting the right person is simply not enough,
The timing and place has to be right, that part is truly tough,
These are the factors that we need to align and arrange,
For it is when all of these intersect can we see a positive change,
It is true that we can control our circumstances to some degree,
Yet that alone is enough to change the course of one's destiny,
So polish your skills well, train yourself to stand out from the rest,
So that within each potential encounter you will be always at your best!
