Why can't I accept the fact, that sometimes love is what it takes,
I know that you are the only one who knows my heart's sake,

I have been a wanderer, going places where sorrow was rife,
I know you're the only one who can bring my dark soul back to life,

But still I fear to let you close to my heart,
To share with you my pain is what I find hard,

You are the angel whom I always wanted to be with,
But Baby, I don't wanna hurt you, I am a man of pith,

How can I accept what my forsaken heart says,
Even though, to be with you is what it always prays,

I know that you'll always be at peace with me,
But the conscience is stopping my heart to be free,

Sometimes I feel I should let the heart take over and say I love you,
Even though it may seem hard, I know it is be the best thing to do...
