Love Is Not Learned In Books Poem by Tina Rizk

Love Is Not Learned In Books

My love,

Love is not learned in books
Neither measured in laboratories

How can all feelings be defined in words?
How can love be limited within a framework?

Your love has no boundaries
The love you sowed in my heart and soul
Abounds with wonderful memories

Your love is soft, tender like the morning dew
Your love is divine, known by few

Your love taught me love
Beyond the limbs, beyond the eyes
Beyond time and space

Love is two hearts beating as one
Living in the grace of tenderness
Affection, compromise and sacrifice

Love is two souls destined to unite
Love is two soulmates that defy the odds
To merge their hearts and souls into one
