Love Lay Alone Poem by shell Zane

Love Lay Alone

Rating: 4.8

As when the glass was blown apon
To when the mor'in dawns
You prayed apon the alter swords
And laid you hand in oath and swore

Lay weeping
weeping and heart sore

To all that see's nothing was there
And walk away
To heavens saints and have no fear
A moment, a pause, a pluse we pray
but at last not dropp a tear

Away it cried and fell apart
When the rings broke and tore
But this fair warning they will give
Not much can be more
