Staring at you through tear-filled eyes
I see anger
Cold and calculated
I wonder to myself
Where the smile went
Where your soft, loving touch is lost
How can you look at me with such venom?
When minutes ago those same eyes
looked at me with love
Have I been so cruel?
Have I ever lied to you?
Have I not loved you with all my heart,
My body, and soul?
What have i done to make you this way?
