His lips upon her brow have writ their names in love
And too, upon her lips, her neck, her skin
Her hands have stained his heart the tender hue of love
And his hands linger in hers and in her hair
His eyes see deep into her very soul
And he twines around her
They hold their hearts upon their sleeves and sing quiet melodies none but they can hear
He calls up quiet love songs and whispers in her ear, her perfect ear
Her lips enchant his gaze and sing promises too elaborate to keep
Her heart sighs out in gratitude whenever he envelops her
They need not speak for words muddle meaning
They read each other like Shakespear, tasting each and every syllable
His feet begin to bounce when he sees her near
And her stomach flutters at his presence
A smile twists the corners of her mouth like a secret
And he kisses her and swears not to tell
Her spine is inlaid with gold and her eyes are made of precious jewels
He is mystery and sweet rebellion and she revels in his open arms
They share the beauty of love
And lovers need not but each other's warm embrace
