Love You Dad

My mom left me
Alone, in this world
I could have turned into an orphan
If then my dad did not care.
My dad was broken himself, when he lost the one he loved a lot
He still tried to get a grip on himself
By controlling his emotions in a way, that he turned himself into a rock.
It was not easy for him to raise me, since I was always a very naughty kid
Though, always he stood strong by doing his best
Then, as I grew up I became depressed
Still, my dad never gave up hope on me
He believed in me, even though I was always a tough child to handle
My dad had to take me to regular counseling sessions
Those were the days, very tough for us all
My dad still did not give up
Tried his best to provide me with best of facilities
Kept on trying and slowly now my health has improved
It is because of my dad that I am well now
Thanking you dearest dad, love you a lot.

poet Emily Dickinson

"Heaven"—is what I cannot reach!
The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!
