Loveless Love Poem by Danielle Phillips

Loveless Love

We tend to misuse the word love
As if we will never get enough
We think if we enjoy something
That we might have a fling

I love pizza, I love cats
We know that love will leave us bats
Boyfriends and girlfriends think they have love
They think it's roses and rainbows with doves

Will we learn what love really is
Or go on feeling this bliss
We are a society that uses it lightly
But we only understand it slightly

AH! ! ! This is very true! it's kind of sad....everyone uses the word so freely...then maybe we'll never know what love really is! : (
