Who wishes from ills to sever?
Who’ll enter Heaven’s door?
Who desires to live forever?
With crown and wealth galore
But are you prepared to suffer what?
Things unseen, felt or heard
That lost blind fools, believe are not
Deeming them quite absurd
Who’s craving’s wisdom to master
Knowledge one’s mind to fill
To flee death’s pending disaster
Obeying God’s righteous will
To take on love, patients and grace
Obedience supreme
The will, the Way, to see God’s face
Drinking from true life’s Stream
Changing, rearranging one’s genes
Through Christ’s death on a tree
Where whys, wherefores, the in-betweens
Once veiled in mystery
Through faith through trust, blind eyes can see
Life’s miracle supplied
In truth! Jesus will cause us be
Wonders personified
Like a foal to mighty war horse
Caterpillar to butterfly
Who’ll live, talk, walk, true life’s course
Teaching one’s self to die
Seek out The God that made you
Who gives to understand
By faith, do what He says to do
Holding Christ’s mighty hand…..
