Loving For A Lifetime Poem by Ray Hansell

Loving For A Lifetime

Love lives inside us all
Though we cannot see
Love is a feeling
That takes a hold of you and me

We all know when we feel it
Because it makes us feel so good
I know if we had the chance
We'd keep it if we only could

But, sadly to say
Not all love will last
Some loves will die and drift away
To become part of our past

But some people are very lucky
As they live the're whole life through
They have what others wish for
A life of love enjoyed by few

I know it's not impossible
To love someone forever
The hardest thing to do in life
Is finding the one who'll give you that pleasure
