Loving Lie



Whisper those sudden words
scream the loudest verse
carry it all away and sit on a cloud
that cloud with angels
feel free to look down on the wasteland
the one you left for them
look upon me and feel.....nothing
the price was me
so you picked up and left
without a blink
now I know
your love was not real
