Luck Struck Twice Poem by Pen Anthony

Luck Struck Twice

Rating: 5.0

You trust him
You let him thrust in
Without a rubber
His erection shrinks
Your belly swells

He wants to be free of responsibilities
He flees, leaving you to fend for the baby
That is the final straw
You now consider it
You get some cash, you're off to the doctor

The receptionist greets you happily
You force a smile
She offers you a cup of tea
You accept so to shake her off
She brings two

She sits beside you
She tells you, you don't have to do it
Things will get better
Him leaving is a new chapter
Even though it appears as if it's the end

You get uncomfortable
She notices
Leaves you alone
Now you're reconsidering
As your name is called

You feel it
First it's faint
The second time
It's definitely a kick
Your baby's first kicks

Now you can't go through with it
You put the cup on the desk
Run out of the room
In the corner of your eye
You catch the receptionist smile
