Lucky Are Those

Lucky are those who understand
the value of the things
before they loose and never get them again.

those who understand
that health and peace is the gift of God
its not for free and they need to maintain.

those who understand
that all happiness comes with an effort,
giving up to senses is a recipe for pain.

those who understand
how much each relationship is dearer
and prevent them from crumbling with strain.

those who understand
how hard they have earned the respect
before a barbarous act flushes it in the drain.

those who understand
each sin must be paid up somewhere someday,
at the hands of evil before they are slain.

those who understand
all things can be repaired till a point,
after which all effort whatever it may be is in-vain.

Lucky are those who understand
the value of the things
before they loose and never get them again.

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
