Lure And Bait Poem by Brandi Guthrie

Lure And Bait

Rating: 5.0

Addicted to skin,
It binds me tight.
One two three I begin
As I spring to flight
I caught your breath
With my dastardly deed.
I crawl away from the wreck
Feeling much more pleased.
If you slide down with me
To a sinister place,
I will strip you free
Of the dreadful chase.
Apprehensions will die
With a gallant moan.
So bliss can revive
Each and every bone.

The cost is slight.
Lay your fortitude here.
I swear not to bite,
There`s no use for fear.
My touch can assure
What`s been bathed in doubt.
When there are no words…
No desire to shout.
Immerse into me
Each lingering breath.
Gratification comes sweet,
Far sweeter than death.
I can taste in you
A submission of will.
I must savor the fruit
To resist the kill.
