Lying Poem by Lacie Wasserman

Lying

Rating: 5.0

Behind that smile you were lying. When does it end with you? With your lies? DIEING! Ha! I cant believe you would lie about something like that. All those times you had me crying. I always minded your words. Trusted you. Believed all the little things you said. I guess I should have read between the lines. You were lying. I was the one who was trying. You only sat there watching me do all the work. You didnt care about how Id feel in the end. You were just using me till you found someone better. Well let me tell you one thing first before you go. You will never find anyone like me. Better or not. When you walked away after telling me you were dieing I fell to my knees and cried. But those wasted tears dont matter anymore. You were only lying.
