Magic Of Love In The Moonlight Poem by Peter LeBuhn

Magic Of Love In The Moonlight

from a distance seeing thee
dressed in cool white
sweet curves of thy body shine through
our meeting...long last...happenstance

our eyes
how they glisten
outlined against the shimmering sands
closer to each other

stars shining in a myriad
twinkling lights celebrating in harmony with joy
feeling love between us

close to you
no room between us
seeing a smile
from those ruby lips
inviting for a kiss

taking you in my arms gently
gazing deep in your eyes
the look of love, desire
wanting
needing

the warmth of your body
against the beat of your
kissing gently at first
lips brush each other in passion

thy heart beats faster
senses command
bodies demand
lying on the white sands

the waves lapping at our feet
asking shall we swim my darling
swim in love
it is the magic of love in the moonlight
