Magnificent Man

I think of this man in the light and the dark.
This man who's quiet and large of heart.
This man in need of piece of mind.
This man who's so gentle and kind.
This man in search of inner peace.
This man who'd die for son, brother, sister or niece.
This man who's seen pain and screaming.
This man who's with me when i'm dreaming.
This man that i trust through and through.
This man, this magnificent man.
Is you!

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
