Making A Man Of You Poem by Airda Jones

Making A Man Of You

Let's get down to business...

To defeat the competition because
You know that the situation will arrive
When you'll have to fend them off
And if you do, our chance might survive

Brace yourself because this is war
And you better know who you're fighting for
Choose your side and choose it soon
Either way, I'll make a man out of you

You better find that fire within
The passion that's at your center
That's the only way to win
To admit it'll never be her

If you can't stand up
And be swift about the truth
Than you're a spineless, pale, pathetic wretch
That doesn't have a freaking clue

Brace yourself because this is war
And you better know who you're fighting for
Choose your side and choose it soon
Either way, I'll make a man out of you

I'm not going to give you one moment
Not even to catch your breath
Say goodbye to those few you knew
Or I'll be the one saying good bye next
Now's not the time to be looking through me
Now's the time to be scared to death

Each corner you round
It stands tempting and waiting, alive
But if you heed any of my advice
Then our chance just might survive

If you're unsuited for this
Then you can pack it up and go home
But if you're ready for the rage of war
Then you won't be fighting this alone

Brace yourself because this is war
And you better know who you're fighting for
Choose your side and choose it soon
Either way, I'll make a man out of you

The time has come now
Let's get down to business...
