Making A Man Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Making A Man

Making a man

He stood, so did son
small boy; four or five
raised father the child's arm
under it set bread, brought down
then lectured by saying:
"Boys turn men; listen now: "
waited some then went on:
"must feed the, sisters, mom
also wife…"
boy blushed, felt proud;
he was man.

In recent QA stat said:
"house husbands are on rise."

Women work; work outside…

Visibly world has changed
not only men have changed
most of all women changed.

To me things are not same
today is yesterday's distortion
surely is very much different.
