The land of mountains and hills
domain of great Indian hornbills
of king cobras and many living fossils
of heavy rains and freezing chills.

Home of sandalwood, honey and dew
of greenery as far as eye can view
of temples and men of holy crew
nothing is more beautiful then you.

A girl of yours did steal my heart
the beautiful maiden, the artists art
was smitten by her beauty from start
but, she hurt me and tore me apart.
