Man On A Train Poem by Clive Culverhouse

Man On A Train

Rating: 5.0

there's a man
on a train
with his head
in his hands

I'm three seats behind

a man
on the train
with my head
in my hands

A wonderful write with a captivating title. Simple yet thought provoking. Cleverly written.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to comment on my poem Man On A Train. I wrote of a man with his head in his hands and later we see the man is me - the abstract metaphor of being sat three seats behind suggests a disconnect and a struggle to keep up (with life) hence being sat with head in hands.
