Man's Destiny Poem by Paul Sebastian

Man's Destiny

Failing health, failing wealth
Wasting health, seeking wealth
Then, spending wealth, caring health
Surely, life has higher purpose and worth!

Experiential today, obscure tomorrow
Putting off moments to periods follow
Not living now, but live in the future
Oblivious passing moments, next unsure

To love self and others, mankind exist
Mankind perishes when hate persist
Driven, man is heading for destruction
Man in darkness, hungering self-immolation

Where is man's destiny?
Why live in dark obscurity?
What is to come of humanity?
Where are men with vision of futurity?
