Man's Greatest Need

Fresh warm bread upon the table
Roast meat from off the grill
Is Heaven not always able
God's children's mouths to fill?

When winter's cold, warm clothes to wear
In sunshine, cooling shade
Whatever comes God's always there
True to His promise made

Here and everywhere tending
Wild goats and docile sheep
Each and every soul depending
On He who'll safely keep

God knows His children's wants and needs
Each servant's heart desire
To live, to thrive hope and succeed
To climb ever higher

With Jesus always concerning
In Jesus arms secure
Always searching, faithful learning
Life's great race to endure

Life searching souls should learn first hand
Amidst life's stormy gales
By living trials, to understand
What living life entails

Willing, yearning, ducking diving
Regardless what's ahead
Ever hopeful constant striving
To aid the walking dead

The greatest need of everyone
To learn life's truth on earth
Through seeking Jesus Christ God's Son
For life, through second birth.....
