Man Unkind Poem by Ini Mendy

Man Unkind

Rating: 5.0

Man unkind
Killing his kind
Stabbing from behind
What u seek u shall find
U cannot sow death and reap life
All u know is kill and strife
Coveting Uche's goods even his wife
Desolation will knock and u will not survive
It will pounce on u hard with a swift sweep
Ur widows will shed no tears neither weep
They will not look at ur remains but they will only peep
Another man will keep them and drive them like sheep
[selah]
Redemption
Salvation U shall receive
Only when u will believe
and pledge evil not to conceive
God's grace is what u shall receive

Poignant philosophical rendition depicting man inhumanity to man. Well conceived and nicely crafted in rhythmic splendour. Thanks for sharing Ini.
