Mark Of Cain Poem by Chinwe Robert

Mark Of Cain

Rating: 5.0

Mark of Cain

For the curse of my skin
This hue uncreated by me
I bear this burden

I roam
and am different
I labour your thoughts
A thought which masturbates your acts

I bear my mark
On my back
A target set
For your whips
On my forebearers
Or for your bullets
On any who bears my mark

I am Cain
Cursed to walk the wild
For my curse is not from God
But from you
You are the created creator
The judged judge
The virus destroying Ala
The scorn.
